On some use-case scenarios - for example when content is played from removable CD disc - and when large local file (resource) is loaded with path built with help of "http://mdm/" prefix - the time taken to load (and playback) that content into flash movie an be significantly longer that time taken when path to resource is constructed and executed with mdm.Application.path property.

To repeat:
- download and build provided sample project - note that video directory is empty due to upload size limites and relevant video content (and entire sample) is already available in bug reports resources as "A88129.zip" file.
- run compiled application
- use provided controls to start playback of video file using "http://mdm/" and mdm.Application.path to load external content.
- the time taken from button action and to start of playback (in milliseconds) will be displayed in output text area for each type of loading

Note that after first load using "http://mdm/" the time taken to load content and and start playback will be significantly shorted then on first load - but still longer then when mdm.Application.path is used to load external content
