MDM Zinc 3.0 Updated To Support Flash Player 10
October 2008

Wolverhampton, United Kingdom - October 24th, 2008 - Zinc 3.0 has been updated to support Flash Player 10, the latest and most advanced version of the Flash Player to date.

Flash Player 10 was released on October 15th with new support for custom filters and effects, native 3D transformation and animation, advanced audio processing, and GPU hardware acceleration. Building on over 25 years of Adobe expertise with text, the highly flexible new text engine in Flash Player 10 provides interactive designers and developers with more text layout options and better creative control. "Designers and developers know if they deliver video, online games, rich Internet applications (RIAs) and other interactive experiences using Adobe Flash Player, they can reliably reach the entire Web," said David Wadhwani, general manager and vice president of the Platform Business Unit at Adobe. "Flash Player 10 continues to set the pace for Internet innovation, and we're excited to see how the community is already using it to create an entirely new class of experiences not previously achievable on the Web."

Industry Leading Flash Application Development Software, Zinc 3.0, is the first to support the new Flash Player, allowing the Zinc 3.0 Development Community to start benefiting from the Flash 10 features immediately in their Desktop Applications.

Zinc 3.0, released January 2008, is also the only 3rd Party Flash Application Development Tool that support Cross-Platform development across Windows, Mac OSX and Linux. Zinc 3.0 incorporates an exclusive and innovative "X-Platform, X-Compile" feature which allows Developers the freedom to develop for any platform, from any platform.

"Flash 10 is an important update" commented Multidmedia CEO, Jaspal Sohal, "and once again, MDM are first to respond and provide support for Flash 10 across all platforms in Zinc 3.0."

Zinc 3.0 Builder is available now for Windows and Mac OSX, with Zinc 3.0 Plug-Ins available for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux Output. Pricing is US $349.99 for a single license (per Platform Plug-In), or $849.99 for the Zinc 3.0 Development Suite which includes all Platform Plug-Ins. Education, government, and volume pricing is available. To learn more about purchasing options, or to download the trial version, visit http://www.multidmedia.com/software/zinc
