Wolverhampton, United Kingdom - September 24th, 2008 - Multidmedia, the leading 3rd Party publisher of Flash Application Development software, have released a CMD (Command Line) Edition of Zinc 3.0 Builder.
Zinc 3.0, released in February 2008, is the first Development Tool to provide a rigid and tested platform for building Flash and Flex based Applications for the Desktop, across Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.
The CMD Edition of Zinc 3.0 is a unique version which allows multiple users to access the software on a "host" machine via the Command Line. Several users can access the compiling Power of Zinc 3.0from a single, central location making it ideal for Development Networks or as a Server Install Solution.
"Most Design and Media Agencies require even their non-technical staff to be familiar with the 3rd party technologies they incorporate" said MDM Managing Director, Jaspal Sohal, "with so many of these companies integrating Zinc 3.0 in their development cycle, it was important for us to provide an easy way for multiple users to have access to the Zinc 3.0 Compiling Engine whilst still adhering to fixed parameters set by a system Administrator or Lead Developer."
A Project or Team Leader has the power to create a .zinc (Zinc 3.0 Project File) which contains all of the information regarding Projector Style, Design, Option, Forms etc. This File can be supplied to other non-admin users who require access to the Zinc 3.0 Compiling Engine. Users can specify new SWF movies and compile new Projectors whilst retaining the core design features of the Main Projector Application. This is all possible via the Command Line which means that any user connected to the network can compile from virtually any location.
Zinc 3.0 Builder CMD Edition is available to purchase now. Please contact the MDM Sales Team for Pricing Information.
